Obama uses the BAN STICK on a reporter; for not comporting to HIS LINE !
0 comments Posted by kotang at 9:19 AMHis 'official' line to reporters is, there is no dissent tolerated, and no deviation from your given talking points
And complaining about it? Just wait and see! You WILL do as you are told, or you WILL FACE CONSEQUENCES!
I'll give kudos where it's due, and this newspaper and reporter deserve credit for standing up to Barack Hussein Obama, the "I WON".
Obama Administration punishes reporter for using multimedia
White House officials have banished one of the best political reporters in the country from the approved pool of journalists covering presidential visits to the Bay Area for using now-standard multimedia tools to gather the news.
The Chronicle's Carla Marinucci - who, like many contemporary reporters, has a phone with video capabilities on her at all times - pulled out a small video camera last week and shot some protesters interrupting an Obama fundraiser at the St. Regis Hotel.
How are we supposed to know what BHO is up to? Reporters have always given The WON! a free pass; there's very few tough questions allowed. Any heckling or, in this case a very mild reproach by fellow travelers, is not allowed, under pain of filter.
What's worse: more than a few journalists familiar with this story are aware of some implied threats from the White House of additional and wider punishment if Carla's spanking became public. Really? That's a heavy hand usually reserved for places other than the land of the free.
But bravery is a challenge, in particular for White House correspondents, most of whom are seasoned and capable journalists. They live a little bit in a gilded cage where they have access to the most powerful man in the world but must obey the rules whether they make sense or not.
CBS News reporter, Mark Knoller, has publicly protested the limited press access to Obama fundraisers, calling the policy "inconsistent." "It's no way to do business," wrote Politico's Julie Mason, "especially [for] a candidate who prides himself on transparency."
A 2009 blog by the White House Director of New Media states that "President Obama is committed to making his administration the most open and transparent in history."
Not last week.
You WILL LEARN what you can say, and when you can say it, or you WILL NOT be allowed to access our IMPERIAL PRESIDNET. Your talking points are sent out every morning; there will be no deviation from the narrow lines we wish to convey.
OR ELSE.
That will be all. Return to your cubicles.
Good DAY!

Lara Logan's Muslim attackers gang-raped her repeatedly, because they thought she was a Jew.

مراسل كابوس
......"Unfortunately I heard some eye witness accounts that suggest whoever did that was a random mob of people from the nearby slums who came out to celebrate, it was not an organized thing. Some tried to pick up a fight with her and started yelling that she was Israeli and the situation escalated very quickly. Some of the Tahrir guys tried to intervene and form a circle around her,but there were too many of the aggressors to fend off. I was told that she was verbally threatened, spat at and then had her hair pulled by a couple of the men. After that the situation just degenerated. The herd closed in on her and she was dragged deeper into the crowd. It would have been impossible to see from a distance what was going on (unless with a helicopter I suppose) as she would have been literally surrounded by hundreds of people. Apparently they began touching her body and pulling at her clothes. She tried to resist and that is why they started slapping her around.
حاولت المقاومة وهذا هو السبب في أنها بدأت الصفع لها في جميع أنحاء.
I have been around this sort of men my entire life. Their primitive mentality is, if a "white" girl is among "men" she must be a slut and she is for the taking. If she doesn't like it then she must be taught a lesson. The fact that the majority of the crowd believed her to be a jew would have aggravated the situation dramatically and I'm sure the ringleaders would have wanted everyone to see how a "scorned Western woman" deserved to be treated. Which means they would have had no "moral restraints" and would have wanted to humiliate her in any way possible.
Since she was a non-muslim, she would have been deemed a Dhimmi slave girl. In Egypt, the following Quranic instructions apply to her, which led her to getting gang-raped: Quran 33:50, 4:24, 4:34, 23-5:6, 2:223. These are only three. But I can cite lot more. There is no surprise that what happened, happened. Such precepts allow rape/adultery with slave girls. Unfortunately Lara fell under the slave category.
سقطت لسوء الحظ لارا تحت فئة العبيد.
After being slapped around, she was dragged to the floor and the mob surrounded her. At this point, her fate was doomed. Apparently she was pinned down (arms, legs held apart) and her clothes were torn away. Once naked, as you can imagine, it was a no-holds-barred "free-for-all" scenario.
I don't want to relay too much of what I've heard about the actual assault as it would be too graphic for this forum, however by focusing on some of the descriptions given by the mainstream networks you should be able to read between the lines and decipher what actually happened:
"She was surrounded and suffered a brutal and sustained sexual assault and beating " - CBS
"Sources familiar with the situation tell us the details of Logan's assault are horrible." - CBS
"It has been reported that according to network sources she was
at first unable to speak.”" - CBS
She won't be coming back anytime soon after suffering what the network called
"serious" internal injuries in the incident. - MSNBC
"After the attack, Logan spent 7 days in the hospital." - The NYPost
وأفيد أنه وفقا لمصادر الشبكة أنها كانت في البداية غير قادر على الكلام. ""
That's probably enough. So lets try to put this in laymans terms..
"brutal and sustained sexual assault " = she was practically gangraped over and over again
"unable to speak.” = this has to do with the fact that she actually passed out half way through the assault.
""serious" internal injuries" = this is the worse one. Remember, she was attacked by muslim men.
This means that she was SODOMIZED, repeatedly. And I don't just mean by their penises. She was penetrated by "foreign obects" (bottles etc.).
"7 days in the hospital" = you don't spend 7 days in hospital just because someone felt you up in a crowd.
كان صديقي يقول لي أنها كانت مكسورة القلب
Let's call a spade a spade shall we.. This woman wasn't simply "groped" for a couple of seconds. This was a severe and prolonged case ("Sustained" does not mean a couple of minutes..) of sexual abuse in which the victim was beaten, stripped and gang-penetrated (vaginally, orally and anally) repeatedly by multiple assailants.
My friend was telling me they were broken hearted hearing her screams while not being able to do anything to save her. Without a doubt, if the army had not intervened, she never would have made it out alive. I'm really surprised that this story is not receiving much attention from the news televisions. Just snippets here and there. And yet it was such a brutal assault. Goes to show where priorities lie in this day and age.. -

Lara Logan suffers a CBS cognitive dissonance moment; OJ Simpson suffers an ass-whupping. One is more important than the other.

Mona Eltahawy comments on how Egypt’s peaceful 18-day revolution didn’t just bring down a dictator, it also toppled stereotypes about Arabs, who are often seen as violent and as a people who crave an iron-fisted strongman.CBS News, today, 2/15/11:
On Friday, Feb. 11, the day Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak stepped down, CBS chief foreign correspondent Lara Logan was covering the jubilation in Tahrir Square for a "60 Minutes" story when she and her team and their security were surrounded by a dangerous element amidst the celebration. It was a mob of more than 200 people whipped into frenzy.
In the crush of the mob, she was separated from her crew. She was surrounded and suffered a brutal and sustained sexual assault and beating before being saved by a group of women and an estimated 20 Egyptian soldiers. She reconnected with the CBS team, returned to her hotel and returned to the United States on the first flight the next morning. She is currently in the hospital recovering.
There will be no further comment from CBS News and correspondent Logan and her family respectfully request privacy at this time.
Oh, that other thing, that I don't care so much about. I heard on the radio, 104.5 The Zone, around noontime; OJ Simpson got the shit beat out of him in a Las Vegas prison. Beat so bad that he had to stay in the infirmary for 3 weeks; now he's afraid to leave his cell.
Neither Nicole Brown Simpson nor Ronald Goldman could be reached for comment.

You can have it for free, just as soon as you fire Keith Olbermann.
Go ahead, you know you want to. For breaking clear Company Policy, and for general douchnozzlery.
Give him the boot. I'd be tempted to watch again, just to see the strain on Madcow's and Twitchy's faces as they try to 'straighten up' their presentations. Good luck with that.
Olbermann speaks:
Mr. Olbermann also said, “I did not privately or publicly encourage anyone else to donate to these campaigns, nor to any others in this election or any previous ones, nor have I previously donated to any political campaign at any level.”Liar. Every time he opens his sour puss he 'contributes' to Democrats by encouraging his minscule audience of like-minded feeble leftists to support candidates who are always campaigning (sorry, 'community organizing') for more moocher's votes. Olbermann brings in $4M a year salary, and for all of that has pitiable ratings. NBC was just acquired by ComCast, known penny-pinchers; there's sound fiscal reasons for pulling the plug on a costly drain on MSNBC's already losing margins.
Which brings to mind that this might be a ploy by MSNBC to boost his ratings. There's thousands of basement-dwelling leftists signing a petition right now somewhere to keep him alive. What, is this 'sweeps week' or something?
Let him do something else, maybe at FOX News. He'd be a good foil for O'Reilly.
Whatever you do, NBC, do NOT let him do any more NFL football, from which he was barred in August. I'd become a fan of professional ping pong before spending two minutes watching a game called or color commented by Keith Olbermann. Sorry, but he's the Worst Person in the World AFAIC.
Well, no, but it sounded good. )

"Nobody who was paying attention has ever doubted that Fox is, in reality, a part of the Republican political machine; but the network — with its Orwellian slogan, “fair and balanced” — has always denied the obvious. Officially, it still does. But by hiring those G.O.P. candidates, while at the same time making million-dollar contributions to the Republican Governors Association and the rabidly anti-Obama United States Chamber of Commerce, Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation, which owns Fox, is signaling that it no longer feels the need to make any effort to keep up appearances."Thus speaks Krugman, a pundit so-far-vestigial 'Republican' that he doesn't even still deserve the rancid RINO label. We'll keep that label for fakirs who at least try to maintain a semblance of the Republican spirit; Krugman has none of that left, if he ever did in the first place.
When you prop yourself up from the NEW YORK TIMES and decry FOX News, you're disparaging a cot in a tent from a feather bed in a palace.

Bill Haslam's Pilot Oil Guilty of Gouging Tennesseans in the wake of Hurricane Ike in 2008: Video
0 comments Posted by kotang at 4:09 AMWhy, you ask? Glad you did! Three good reasons:
- Ron Ramsey supports Arizona
- Ron Ramsey is the Tea Party candidate
- Ron Ramsey is strong in support of the 2nd Amendment. Zach Wamp and Bill Haslam? Not so much.
“Just when you think it unfathomable that Washington can get any crazier, they announce news highlighting just how out of touch they are with mainstream Americans.Twenty Tea Party organizations endorse Ron Ramsey...
“I’ve said before that I fully back Arizona’s efforts to enforce immigration law and secure their borders from the scourge of violence and crime that illegal immigration is causing in their state. In fact, when I am elected the next conservative Governor of Tennessee, I will enact a similar measure.
“The primary function of the federal government is to protect its citizens from foreign threats and if President Obama won’t act, then Governors across this nation will act to protect our citizens.
“We are a nation originally comprised of immigrants and while I support legal immigration, we must never forget that we are a nation of laws and they must be upheld. Those seeking to come to our country through legal avenues are always welcome in America and the state of Tennessee,” stated Ramsey.
TENNESSEE (July 5, 2010) – An association of twenty Tea Party organizations representing every corner of the state announced today that they are endorsing Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey for the next Governor of Tennessee.Gun Owners of America endorsed Ron Ramsey (the NRA is a bit slower on the draw)...
These groups arrived at their decisions following a thorough, three-month vetting process, which included research into the candidates’ backgrounds and voting records, completion of vetting questionnaires, and culminated in a vetting forum near Nashville on June 27th. Republican, Democratic, and Independent candidates were considered for their knowledge, commitment, and record on the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights, fiscal responsibility, the role of the State and Federal Governments, and protection of the rights of individuals.
Gun Owners of America Supports Ron Ramsey for GovernorGood enough for me.
(Springfield, VA)—Gun Owners of America Political Victory Fund today announced the endorsement of Ron Ramsey for Governor of Tennessee.
Ramsey, the current Lieutenant Governor, “Displays a constitutional and historically accurate understanding of the Second Amendment and the threats that face it today,” said GOA Vice-Chairman Tim Macy.
As a strong Tenth Amendment advocate, Ramsey believes that “We must have a Governor who can stand up to federal officials who want to erode our basic rights.”
In 1997, while serving in the state legislature, Ramsey pushed a concealed carry bill that improved the state’s right-to-carry. Ramsey’s bill, which was signed into law, streamlined the application process so honest, law-abiding citizens would not have to wait up to a year to receive their permit.
GOA-PVF noted, in a letter to supporters, that Ramsey’s strong support of the Constitution and the Second Amendment stands in stark contrast to other candidates in the race.
Bill Haslam, mayor of Knoxville since 2003, was a member of New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg’s gun-grabbing group Mayors Against Illegal Guns.
As a member of the group, Bill Haslam’s name was part of a 2007 letter to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi supporting a bill to prohibit the hundreds of thousands of people on the federal government’s so-called terror “watch list” from purchasing firearms.
Under the bill, the Attorney General is permitted to strip away the civil liberties of Americans without due process of law and without the accused even knowing the details of the suspicion.
This provision was part of a larger bill that would have federalized even more gang and gun crimes, which properly belong at the state and local levels.
In 2008, Haslam’s name again appeared on a letter to Reid and Pelosi seeking to close the non-existent and misleadingly named “gun show loophole.” This legislation would have led to the closing down of gun shows and opened the door to complete federal control of private firearms transactions.
“As soon as Haslam announced his bid for governor, he left Bloomberg’s anti-gun group with much haste. If that isn’t the clearest sign of pandering and lip service, then we don’t know what is,” said Macy.
Another opponent in the race, Representative Zach Wamp, was criticized by GOA for “joining forces with Sen. John McCain to put a stranglehold on free speech over his support for the so-called Campaign Finance Reform Act.
“When Republican opposition stymied the bill in 2001, the anti-freedom crowd circulated a ‘discharge petition’ to force it on to the House floor. Zach Wamp joined a handful of other Republican turncoats to help pass a law that made it illegal to publish certain political information within 30 days of a primary or 60 days of a general election.
“Of all the types of speech protected by the First Amendment, political speech was foremost on the minds of the Founding Fathers. Just this year, the U.S. Supreme Court recognized that fact and in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission (a case in which Gun Owners Foundation participated) undid much of the damage caused by Wamp and his congressional allies.
“In this race for Governor, the choice for gun owners and sportsmen is clear. Ron Ramsey is a proven, effective and constitutionally minded leader who will stand up to all attacks on our right to keep and bear arms,” concluded Mr. Macy.
Good Luck and Following Seas, Ron Ramsey.

Who could blame her if she did?
Mark Steyn has written the piece that I've found most likely to have hit the nail on the head...
Yes, and a grievous loss that would be.In states far from the national spotlight, politics still attracts normal people. You're a mayor or a state senator or even the governor, but you lead a normal life. The local media are tough on you, but they know you, they live where you live, they're tough on the real you, not on some caricature cooked up by a malign alliance of late-night comics who'd never heard of you a week earlier and media grandees supposedly on your own side who pronounce you a "cancer".
Then suddenly you get the call from Washington. You know it'll mean Secret Service, and speechwriters, and minders vetting your wardrobe. But nobody said it would mean a mainstream network comedy host doing statutory rape gags about your 14-year old daughter. You've got a special-needs kid and a son in Iraq and a daughter who's given you your first grandchild in less than ideal circumstances. That would be enough for most of us. But the special-needs kid and the daughter and most everyone else you love are a national joke, and the PC enforcers are entirely cool with it.
Most of those who sneer at Sarah Palin have no desire to live her life. But why not try to - what's the word? - "empathize"? If you like Wasilla and hunting and snowmachining and moose stew and politics, is the last worth giving up everything else in the hopes that one day David Letterman and Maureen Dowd might decide Trig and Bristol and the rest are sufficiently non-risible to enable you to prosper in their world? And, putting aside the odds, would you really like to be the person you'd have to turn into under that scenario?
National office will dwindle down to the unhealthily singleminded (Clinton, Obama), the timeserving emirs of Incumbistan (Biden, McCain) and dynastic heirs (Bush). Our loss.
(Oh, on that matter of the woman who photoshopped Trig, Linda Kellen Biegel, Democrat, party scion, woman (I think)... I considered a fashioning a retaliatory pshop of Linda Kellen Biegel, the ‘Celtic Diva’ who pshopped Trig Palin. Then I saw her face.
I've never seen a more fat, disgusting, bloated, homely, fat (if one were to punch her in the belly, one would be dodging biscuits for days), nassty countenance on a woman in my entire life. A worthy mate for Jabba the Hut (but if she rolled over on top of him, she would crush~!) Why do Democrat women of the political bent always seem to look like north ends of southbound mules?
Fuck her gently with a chainsaw.
There’s nothing I could do pshoppery-wise to make Linda Kellen Biegel look any worse than she already looks. My pity is great for that one. )

"Vetting" the Media: giving MSM 'journalists' a well-deserved roto-rooting
0 comments Posted by kotang at 3:39 PMVia Jeff Goldstein, the news that the 'news' as we need it is nothing more than the most significant element, an important arm of the of the Obama campaign. Who knews?
The New York Times' Jodi Kantor (journalist?) solicited children's facebook accounts to try to dig up dirt on Cindy McCain. Then they ran another hit piece on Mrs. McCain, while ignoring the Obama circus.
Jodi Kantor's e-mail sent to a 16-year old...
September 29 at 7:21pmMeanwhile, Ace has called for "Vetting" the Media...
I saw on facebook that you went to Xavier, and if you don’t mind, I’d love to ask you some advice about a story. I’m a reporter at the New York Times, writing a profile of Cindy McCain, and we are trying to get a sense of what she is like as a mother. So I’m reaching out to fellow parents at her kids’ schools. My understanding is that some of her older kids went to Brophy/Xavier, but I’m trying to figure out what school her 16 year old daughter Bridget attends — and a few people said it was PCDS. Do you know if that’s right? Again, we’re not really reporting on the kids, just seeking some fellow parents who can talk about what Mrs. McCain is like.
Also, if you know anyone else who I should talk to– basically anyone who has encountered Mrs. McCain and might be able to share impressions– that would be great.
Thanks so much for any help you can give me.

A lot of people want to know why we shouldn't begin "vetting" the media -- and by "vetting," I do in fact mean vetting. I mean starting a fund to put fucking detectives on them and begin outing them, one by one:If anything comes out of this election cycle, let it be that the Main Stream Media gets a black eye. For their unending and undeniable bias towards one candidate and one party over another. In the closet.
Hits his wife.
Fucking her editor.
Stoned out of his mind on coke half the time.
Etc.
And to reduce costs, I'm sure some budding citizen journalists-detectives would be wiling to take a night a week following these bastards around, taking pictures.
The media's position that Joe the Plumber who merely asked a question must be "vetted" out of existence certainly supports the full-blown "vetting" of them.
After all, far more turns on the questions they ask and... refuse to ask, more importantly.
This nation needs a neutral media; one that "vets" both candidates, equally. That's the way it was.
Now, not any more.
Citizen journalists, those who can, should tag and trail these 'professionals' to find out exactly why they report the way they do.
As for Jodi Kantor, Darleen Click is beginning the vetting process.
I'll bet there's much to find out.
