"Nobody who was paying attention has ever doubted that Fox is, in reality, a part of the Republican political machine; but the network — with its Orwellian slogan, “fair and balanced” — has always denied the obvious. Officially, it still does. But by hiring those G.O.P. candidates, while at the same time making million-dollar contributions to the Republican Governors Association and the rabidly anti-Obama United States Chamber of Commerce, Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation, which owns Fox, is signaling that it no longer feels the need to make any effort to keep up appearances."
Thus speaks Krugman, a pundit so-far-vestigial 'Republican' that he doesn't even still deserve the rancid RINO label. We'll keep that label for fakirs who at least try to maintain a semblance of the Republican spirit; Krugman has none of that left, if he ever did in the first place.

And Oh! the Irony, it burns! Krugman speaking of FOX News as a Right-leaning platform from a platform, the NYT, that's so far in the tank for the Left, for Democrats and beyond, that even a child should see the irony. Can you not realize that all of this you decry, Krugman, is reaction to the political pendulum-swing to the Left that's now gone too far for reasonable Americans? Sure, I'd like to welcome Democrats back to the realm of political sanity, but I fear that with organs like the NYT, KOS, MSNBC, LA Times, NPR (just to name a few), with the huge overwhelming multitude of similar far-left sources that daily spout far-left opinions, there's no choice but to support the RIGHT side; and if that means FOX News all the time, so be it.

When you prop yourself up from the NEW YORK TIMES and decry FOX News, you're disparaging a cot in a tent from a feather bed in a palace.
