A Tale of Two First Ladies: Times Online disses M'chelle; awestruck by Carla Bruni-Sarkozy
Posted by kotang at 6:56 AMNot that there's anything wrong with that, of course.
Carla Bruni-Sarkozy is the wife (since February '08) of French President Nicolas Sarkozy, his third. No stranger to beautiful models, Sarko married Carla after a three-month whirlwind engagement.
Carla has had her share of love and affairs - Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton, and a host of others. Born in Italy, Carla is a former model, now a singer and songwriter; heiress to a fortune (her grandfather sold his CEAT tire business to Pirelli). Carla is famous for her affairs, publicly espousing polygamy and polyandry, and is quoted as saying "I want an man with nuclear power." Well, there you go.

How in the world, you ask, did TimesOnline dis Michelle Obama? Well, it's nuanced but unmistakable. See that little box, there, to the left? You'll find it on this page (I can't link directly, because it's a Java pop-up.)
Go through the pictures of the Wives - Girlfriends (WAGs?) of the G20 summit leaders. Scroll to #17, Michelle Obama.
Compare that to the other pics of wives, girlfriends, all displayed with tact and...decorum.
Here's another picture of Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, from her modeling days. Yes, I've modified the picture just a bit; there's not another one like it on the 'net.

This for RS McCain's "Rule 5 Sunday" series of pulchritudinous links.
