Tennessee's proud of you, Al.

Saturday, May 3, a cyclone strikes Myanmar (Burma), with a storm surge that floods and overwhelms the Irrawaddy River's delta. Today, sources say the death toll may reach 100,000...
Only a handful of U.N. aid workers had been let into the impoverished Southeast Asian country, which the government has kept isolated for five decades to maintain its iron-fisted control. The U.S. and other countries rushed supplies to the region, but most of it was being held outside Myanmar while awaiting the junta's permission to deliver it.

Entire villages in the Irrawaddy delta were still submerged from Saturday's storm, and bloated corpses could be seen stuck in the mangroves. Some survivors stripped clothes off the dead. People wailed as they described the horror of the torrent swept ashore by the cyclone.
Tuesday, May 6, Al Gore is on NPR, blaming Global Warming for the storm. From Business & Media Institute...
Using tragedy to advance an agenda has been a strategy for many global warming activists, and it was just a matter of time before someone found a way to tie the recent Myanmar cyclone to global warming.

Former Vice President Al Gore in an interview on NPR’s May 6 “Fresh Air” broadcast did just that. He was interviewed by “Fresh Air” host Terry Gross about the release of his book, “The Assault on Reason,” in paperback.
Great timing, Al. You worry less about U.N. aid to the victims and more about promoting your lies and agenda. And your stupid book. More Gore...
“And as we’re talking today, Terry, the death count in Myanmar from the cyclone that hit there yesterday has been rising from 15,000 to way on up there to much higher numbers now being speculated,” Gore said. “And last year a catastrophic storm from last fall hit Bangladesh. The year before, the strongest cyclone in more than 50 years hit China – and we’re seeing consequences that scientists have long predicted might be associated with continued global warming.”
Actually, Al, no...
In October 2007, CNN Meteorologist Rob Marciano disputed Gore’s claim that there is a strong correlation between intense storms and global warming. He explained that “global warming does not conclusively cause stronger hurricanes like we've seen,” pointing out that “by the end of this century we might get about a 5-percent increase.”
Al, the real inconvenient truth is that you are an asshat.

I really hope the Democrat's Superdelegate daddies select Al Gore to run this year. Because the only way to get this arrogant prick to STFU is another humiliating Presidential defeat.

And that might not work. There's always lost causes waiting for these sorts of self-indulgent windbags.

Promotes Global Warming theory before the dead are buried or the aid flows. That's our Al Gore.
