The good news is, the Titans broke their 3-game losing streak in fine form, defeating Houston 28-20 on a semi-cold, drizzly afternoon at LP Field. Much of the time my camera was secured in a plastic bag...rain doesn't do advanced electronics much good, unless it's built for that. Mine isn't, and plastic is cheap.
There were a lot of empty plastic seats in the stadium. I guess the lure of a soft, dry couch in a warm home, or in front of a widescreen TV in a bar was more than some fans could resist. That, and the losing streak.
Well, we didn't need them, fortunately. Those stay-at-home fans (aren't they lucky they don't live in Pittsburgh, Green Bay, New England, any of those really weather-challenged cities, huh?) missed some great action, plus some non-game theatrics including the ceremony awarding Bruce Matthews with his Hall of Fame ring. Bud Adams was on the field, as well as a Bald Eagle (yes, we could tell the difference...someone remarked that Bud Adams resembled an old Hippie, given his long hair...)
Well, on to the pictures, what few there are. I only took 172 this trip; and culled out far more than usual. Must be the lack of sunlight...
I've linked these pictures to an outside Photobucket account. Blogger is squirrelly lately, and isn't cooperating with uploaded pictures. So, if you want to see a 'large' version, click on the picture. There's a bigger one right behind these place holders.

What other city can boast a Tuba amongst the fans at home games? Well, New Orleans I suppose, if they can find one that wasn't looted...

We enjoyed a nice stiff breeze. Some rain would follow, but mostly we missed the downpours; they came in about 6:00.

A Bald Eagle was released before the game, during the singing of the National Anthem. There was no flyover today; the weather was overcast. See my Panthers game pics for some Memorial Day flyovers and flag ceremonies.

This was taken after the game was over...wait a minute, the Ref says the game isn't over! There was a penalty on the last play, and everyone was chased off the field to re-run that last play. With Zero Seconds on the clock...
