Titans win, 13-9, are now 5-2. That's the good news.

Another weak game for the offense. I can't see the Titans handling a quality opponent; as long as we're playing bottom-feeders like the Raiders we can sneak out a win, I suppose, but that has to change soon. Here comes Carolina next week. A much better team than Oakland, and having been stomped by Indy, they are ready to bust some AFC South heads.



I really expected more of a Halloween theme, this being the Raiders and all, but the Oakland fans seemed subdued. Not many at all really (well, more than Atlanta's fans, but no where near the monster fan base the Colts travel with.)

Lendale White had a career-high 133 yards rushing. Where's the naysayers now, the "LenWhale" bunch, the cry babies who laughed at his 2nd round draft selection? Hmmmph. That might have been me... ;D

The final drive and snap for Culpepper. I was fearful of a last-minute reprieve for the Raiders (much like we got last weekend in Houston) but no, the Titans strong defense held.

Next weekend, Carolina is gonna give the Titans more substantial gamesmanship than the lowly Raiders could muster. Vince Young had better snap out of his funk and start moving the offense. I heard several fans remark that our backup QB could have done a better job...no, let's not have that talk! We've got a franchise QB in VY, and we have to stick with him.

Hmmmph. Like Harleys are so-popular with 'Wild Hogs'...

Not meaning to 'call' him out specifically, but opportunity doesn't knock twice...
