Officials at Payne Junior High in Chandler, Arizona, suspended a 13-year old boy for drawing a gun...This is about the sorriest excuse for School Administration I've heard of since, oh, that slap-ass court fight, that ended last week.

"The boy's father, Ben Mosteller, said that when he went to the school to discuss his son's punishment, school officials mentioned the seriousness of the issue and talked about the 1999 massacre at Colorado's Columbine High School, where two teenagers shot and killed 12 students, a teacher and themselves. Mosteller said he was offended by the reference.

Chandler district spokesman Terry Locke said the crude sketch was "absolutely considered a threat," and that threatening words or pictures are punishable."

What a whackin' liberal puss. These overreaching school administrators haven't a bit of sense, if this is the reaction to such an awful drawing.

Just look at the sketch! Nothing there to punish a kid for 3 days suspension for (unless it was an art class, where he obviously slept through his instruction), unless you're a liberal and any form of drawing that represents a gun must be a threat to somebody.

I guess all the history books eliminate the 'minutemen' pictures of the Revolutionary War era (there's those guns, again) and how on earth does modern schooling teach any of our wars?

Hmmmph. Home school, quickly, if you have kids. These public schools are a waste of tax money and only tend to form future liberals. Teach for the open mindedness you hope to elicit in a student, not for the indoctrination of your own left- or right-wing mindset. There's plenty of subjects that need instruction; unfortunately, the only thing this kid has learned is a mistrust of fools in the Administrative Office at Payne Junior High School.

Sue these azzholes, quickly.
