But this happened fast. Last May, Vick was barely on the radar. Now, he's out of the NFL, and getting ready for the Big House...ESPN gives us this:

NEW YORK -- The NFL has suspended Falcons quarterback Michael Vick indefinitely without pay following his admission of guilt in a dogfighting scheme.

He didn't admit to personally killing pit bulls, or making his own bets on the 'games', but did do the conspiracy to fund interstate crime thing...and, like Pete Rose, I'll all but guarantee that he bet on the games!

Principal Goodell:

"Your admitted conduct was not only illegal, but also cruel and reprehensible"
...
"your actions in funding the betting and your association with illegal gambling both violate the terms of your NFL player contract and expose you to corrupting influences in derogation of one of the most fundamental responsibilities of an NFL player."

Damn Straight. Get your ass out, and never come back.
