Haven't really followed the series. I've read enough of the genre, times past, to get a pretty good jading of sorts...how does one not compare to Tolkein's LOTR and, say, Andre Norton's older stuff?
I do guarantee that Harry Potter will live on. How does J.T. Rowling kill a 'cash cow'? Even if he's only hanging on he wall like one of the other 'talking paintings', or brought back in a dragon or, more likely, a Pothead kid.

Who am I to complain? I've got a couple boxes of old paperbacks, that needs to find EBay. What's the stuff worth, I wonder?

I'm glad they've improved their offerings, to compete with the Pravda on the Cumberland's increasingly left-wing positionings. Of course, I haven't yet gotten over their Mistake in May, that cost them lots of subscriptions (including mine.) I haven't even visited their online offerings, much, since then. When the friendly young lady from The Tennessean called last week to solicite my bidness, I politely informed her of what had happened, and that I was still waiting for an apology.
From that crew? Ha! Won't happen, I know, but an apology would be appropriate.
That, and new a editorial staff...
