Al Qaeda's Al-Zawahiri taunts our President and our military.

“Why send 20,000 only, why not send 50 or 100 thousand?" "Aren't you aware that the dogs of Iraq are pining for your troops' dead bodies?”

and

“If we are secure, you might be secure; and if we are safe, you might be safe," "And if we are struck and killed, you will definitely -- with Allah's permission -- be struck and killed.”

So where's the video?

The Washington-based SITE Institute said it had intercepted the video from Ayman al-Zawahri, which had not yet been posted on Islamic militant Web sites, where his messages are usually posted. SITE did not elaborate on how it received the message.

This is just another reason for Democrats to be proud of their unrelenting, unyielding opposition to our ongoing war efforts.

Al-qaeda knows Democrats well enough to endorse them, and to specifically threaten them after the November elections. Then of course, Iran is rattling our chains.

I love the two-party system, and the back-and-forth that keeps us relatively free compared to other countries on this mudball, but you have to wonder if the level of the debate and the continuous, unrelenting attacks on the President and the war effort actually allows these types of responses from our collective enemies...and gives them new hope and strategies.
