UPDATE 10/20/06 Grocery Store Clerk/Punkass Busted
"Dennis Green Meltdown"
The aforementioned punkass is Jake J. Brahm, 20, from Tosa, Wisconsin...he's a grocery store clerk. His reasoning for posting the threat?
"..the man acknowledged posting the phony stadium threat as part of a "writing duel" with a man from the Brownsville, Texas, area to see who could post the scariest threat." "The threat, dated Oct. 12, appeared on the Web site "The Friend Society," which links to various online forums and off-color cartoons. Its author, identified in the message as "javness'.
Dumbass, is more like it...is this him? 20 years old...hmmmm...this one is more like it. I can't check out his 'posts' because I'm not a member, but did catch a glimpse of the front page of the site:

With screen names like "diarrhea connoisseur", "Mama's Lil F*cktoy", "daabomb101", this is just the place for a 20-year old loser to hang out.
Why couldn't he go the route of the world's most famous grocery bagger, Kurt Warner?
I hope he gets bagged, alright...every Friday night by the Pirate in Cellblock 10...
UPDATE 10/19/06 2:00pm
Well, just like I thought... the FBI has a punkass in 'questioning' for the threats issued yesterday.
WASHINGTON - The FBI interviewed a Milwaukee resident Thursday who officials believe was involved in posting Internet threats about dirty bomb attacks on NFL football stadiums this weekend. The threats appeared to be phony.
The person, described only as a young adult, did not appear to have any ties to terrorist groups, according to a Washington law enforcement official who spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation was ongoing.
If you checked out the cached link to the site, you could see that there was not much of substance that would ever come out of there.
AOL, are you listening? ;-»
UPDATE 10/18/06 9:00pm
There's been a supposed 'Terrorist threat' on seven NFL stadiums, for this weekend.
WASHINGTON (AP) -- An Internet message said dirty bombs would hit seven pro football stadiums, including Qwest Field in Seattle, this weekend, a claim met with "strong skepticism" Wednesday by the government, which advised fans not to change their plans.
But since when did I trust government advice?
I started searching for the site, "the friends society dot com" but found a dead link. Not to be dissuaded, I then searched out a Cached Version of the site. But beware; it's the most goober-laden site I've ever seen (except the day or two I subscribed to AOL...)
But the good folks over at PFT scored the text of the message before the site crashed. Here it is...
"On Sunday, October 22nd, 2006, there will be seven 'dirty' explosive devices detonated in seven different U.S. cities; Miami, New York City, Atlanta, Seattle, Houston, Oakland and Cleveland. The death toll will approach 100,000 from the initial blasts and countless other fatalities will later occur as result from radioactive fallout.
"The bombs themselves will be delivered via trucks. These trucks will pull up to stadiums hosting NFL games in each respective city. All stadiums to be targeted are open air arenas, excluding Atlanta's Georgia Dome, the only enclosed stadium to be hit. Due to the open air, the radiological fallout will destroy those not killed in the initial explosion. The explosions will be near simultaneous, with the cities specifically chosen in different time zones to allow for multiple attacks at the same time.
"The 22nd of October will mark the final day of Ramadan as it would fall in Mecca. Al-Qaida will automatically be blamed for the attacks. Later, through Al-Jazeera, Osama bin Laden will issue a video message claiming responsibility for what he dubs 'America's Hiroshima'.
"In the aftermath civil wars will erupt across the world, both in the Middle East and within the United States. Global economies will screech to a halt. General chaos will rule."
Just about what you would expect from the level of players over at "Friends and Morons dot com"...hopefully the FBI will give them New Friends every Friday (date) night in Prison...
On an unrelated note, since I'm collecting videos of bad times at football stadiums, here's the thing from the University of Miami where there was a general melee with college kids...it would never happen in the NFL, now would it??
Uh Oh, YouTube yanked this one too! Must be a lawyer on the prowl, looking for content that might 'offend' any of the big schools...as if Miami would ever qualify for that kind of recognition~!
Over in Arizona at Cardinals Central, Dark Days are still the way of life. Will they win any more games this year? Is Matt Leinert scarred for life?
There is this little bit of info on Famous Tirades from Coaches. Neat trick, to divert attention from the major pisser exhibited by Coach Green after the game (see below)...but this Coach here really takes top billing:
The tirade king
Situation: Indiana coach Bob Knight was nowhere to be found after a 1995 NCAA Tournament loss to Missouri. Media liaison Rance Pugmire announced that Knight would not be attending the news conference, a mistake as it turned out
Tirade: "Who the hell told you I wasn't going to be here? Who? Was it somebody from Indiana? No? Then don't ever . . . I'll handle this the way I want to handle this. You (expletive) it up to begin with. So you can sit here or you can leave. I don't give a (expletive) what you do."
Fallout: Knight was fired - but not for another five years.
I'll keep an eye open for further fallout.

UPDATE 10/17/06 7:04pm
Fallout, the First
The Cards' Head Coach Dennis Green has fired short-term Offensive Cooordinator Keith Rowan in the first fallout from the "Monday Night Meltdown" last night.
Rowan was OC for only one year; he is replaced by QB Coach Mike Cruzcek.
Green has fired seven coaches in his 3-year stint in Arizona...
“I don’t hesitate to make changes, that’s just who I am,” Green said. “I like things to go a certain way. If they don’t, I normally do something about it. Again, it doesn’t all fall on one guy. But there is a job that has to be done, and I’m going to give another guy a chance to do that job.”
He may be looking at the end of the Bidwill's patience at the end of this year; I know I'm out of patience...with the Bidwills...
BTW...while looking around for source material for this here post, I found "The Cardinal's Nest", "the Internet's longest-running website dedicated to the Arizona Cardinals"...celebrating their 11th birthday online. Good job! On that site, you can find all the information you want on the history of the Cardinals, the oldest professional football team in America...including the Chronicle of the 1988 move to Phoenix, when I jumped on board as a fan...

ORIGINAL POST CARDINALS MONDAY NIGHT MELTDOWN! 10/17/06
Last night I watched the most stunning meltdown in Monday Night Footall history. The Arizona Cardinals, in their shining new stadium, managed to unbelievably lose a game that they had in their hands...
Check out this Slideshow from the game...excellent pictures.
At halftime, DaBears had committed four turnovers, Matt Leinert had engineered a 20-0 Lead.
Monday Night Football on ESPN put out a halftime Jay-Z video...that's enough to make me want to change the channel!
Third Quarter: Chicago finally gets on the board with a field goal; 20-3. Neil Rackers answers with another Cardinals field goal, Arizona leads 23-3, with only 17 minutes left to play...
Then the Bear's Defensive unit wakes up. A sack, a fumble and a Bears touchdown...
Score 23-10. Five minutes left in the game, plenty of time for the Edge to grind out the clock...
Anther Cards fumble: Edge was stripped by Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher, and Charles Tillman returned it 40 yards for a score.
23-17.
Cardinals drive fails; a punt. Then the Bears' Devin Hester returns the punt for a TOUCHDOWN:
Score: 24-23, Bears.
Not to worry; Matt Leinert drives the Cards down to within easy field goal range for Neil Rackers.
HE MISSED IT!
Final Score, 24-23, DaBears...
Game Over...
It was the first time in NFL history a team came back from a 20-point deficit without scoring an offensive TD.
Can I manage to find anything good in this? Matt Leinert. He looked great. My question is, will this break his spirit?
Another question is, what will be the fate of Dennis Green? Will he get fired, or quit?
Dennis Green had a meltdown on ESPN, after the game.
“We played them in the preseason. Who the hell thinks they are better than in the preseason? That’s (expletive)!” Green yelled. “We played them, every one (of the starters) played three quarters, they were who we thought they were! Now if you want to crown them, then crown their ass! But they are who we thought they were, and we let them off the hook!”
I'll update this later in the week, after the fallout begins....
