I just received a plaintive e-mail from (also drunken, dropped like a fly from his bid for re-election, didn't he?) Rep. Patrick Kennedy (Slush, Rhode Island) ...
Serr --
Stop Sarah's Tea Party
Republicans are getting cockier and cockier about their chances to win in November, yet refuse to end their allegiance to Big Oil, Wall Street, and the Insurance Industry.

In just 4 days, voters will go to the polls in another special election, this time for Congressman Jack Murtha's seat in Pennsylvania. This is a tough district and the poll numbers are tight, especially after the Republicans and shadowy outside groups have spent over a million dollars on attacks.

Republicans are pulling out all the stops, from Sarah Palin endorsements to a visit yesterday from Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown and other radical tea party favorites.

If they win on Tuesday, Republicans will try to claim that their victory is symbolic of their momentum and what will happen in November.
Yes, the fool did actually write "Jack Murtha's Seat". Not once, but twice...
Jack Murtha was a champion for hard working Americans, for our military, and for our veterans. He always stood on the side of justice, social progress, and economic opportunity for ALL Americans. This is a very tough district for Democrats and the polls are as tight as they come.

But we cannot quit now!

This seat, Jack Murtha's legacy, and the principles for which we stand as Democrats are too important to sit idly by. I need your urgent help to prevent Jack Murtha's seat from falling into Republican hands and to ensure that Mark Critz carries on that legacy of standing up for all of us, not the Oil Companies, Insurance Companies, and Wall Street Tycoons.
You'd think the bastiches would know better by now.

But these new power-hungry Social Democrats who are far-left in nature don't know any better. They are, they think, the 'ruling class' for America; they do present themselves as the best choice we dumb ruffian Americans have (so they say!) to lead us to...what, exactly?

To the end of this Republic, because WE ARE NOT SOCIALISTS, we are not going to become forced socialists; we are not all susceptible to leadership by these elitist statists who refuse to listen to all the people, and realize that WE THE PEOPLE are who matters most.

Other than paying lip service to those weak-spine liberals who now are crying the loudest for special favors and special treatments, these Social Democrats have no care for the majority of Americans; and for 'Tea Party' people, only disdain, as evident in this e-mail, and many, many other spewed vile evidences of hatreds.

To their flocks of smarmy liberals, Social Democrats will grant the 'favors' of promised enhanced social programs (that's now evident to almost all who will take the time to notice, impossible to pay for) so as to secure the votes of their own special interest groups. The same special interest groups the Leftist Democrats have largely created by division and separation and have nurtured, now from Kindergarten to grad school. "Ethnic Studies" should be the name for the Democrat's methodology of divisively cherry picking and separating people whom they want for to only milk for their votes.

Bah. To hell with these leftist bastards.

If you are in Pennsylvania, in that infamous 12 Congressional District where there exists "John Murtha's Seat", please vote for Tim Burns. So we can send a clear message of doom to these insufferable far-leftist Social Democrats.

Oh, also so I can then write "Tim Burns (R) Murtha".

Make my day, that would.

Screenshot of the front page of the Left's Home Page.

Compared to FOX News' cover photo; Scott Brown holding up a copy of the Boston Herald (sure to be a classic photo).

The vicious comes out..."Massachusetts voters, when faced with the bleak prospect of succeeding Ted Kennedy with an incompetent, pinch-faced battle axe, will panic, run 180 degrees from Kennedy's legacy and vote for the smiling shark."

Stay classy, Dems. And KEEP ON DOING EXACTLY WHAT YOU'RE DOING!

Scott Brown (R) Kennedy

Erickson: "Obama's unicorn of hope and change is dying under Ted Kennedy"; Dems in "this position" because Kennedy wanted to be a "martyr for the cause".

Begala is FURIOUS!

Brings a smile to my stone face!

Suck it, Barack Hussein Obama.

"Pelosi politburo emasculation". Those words, how they roll off the tongue! No matter that Pelosi runs the House; a Scott Brown #Masen win would derail these all these leftards, including Obama and his flawed ObamaCare bill. That would be very good news indeed; a subsequent stock market rally would ice the cake.

Even the ongoing and harrowing closeness of it all, and if she should win, the narrowness of Reid's newest lackey dawg Martha Coakley's win will be ample enough incentive to tighten sphincters in both houses of Congress.

The revelations of Martha Coakley's unworthiness to sit in a U.S. Senate seat (even one formerly held by a drunken coward who by inaction  killed a young woman and by 'privilege' got away with it) continues: Ann Coulter weighs in...
In Tuesday's primary election, Massachusetts Democrats chose as their Senate nominee a woman who kept a clearly innocent man in prison in order to advance her political career.

Martha Coakley isn't even fit for the late Teddy Kennedy's old seat. (What is it about this particular Senate seat?)

During the daycare/child molestation hysteria of the '80s, Gerald Amirault, his mother, Violet, and sister, Cheryl, were accused of raping children at the family's preschool in Malden, Mass., in what came to be known as the second-most notorious witch trial in Massachusetts history.

...

In the most outrageous miscarriage of justice since the Salem witch trials, in July 1986, Gerald Amirault was convicted of raping and assaulting six girls and three boys and sentenced to 30 to 40 years in prison. The following year, Violet and Cheryl Amirault were convicted of raping and assaulting three girls and a boy and were sentenced to 8 to 20 years.

...

Gerald Amirault had already spent 15 years in prison for crimes he no more committed than anyone reading this column did. But Coakley put on a full court press to keep Amirault in prison simply to further her political ambitions.

By then, every sentient person knew that Amirault was innocent. But instead of saying nothing, Coakley frantically lobbied Gov. Jane Swift to keep him in prison to show that she was a take-no-prisoners prosecutor, who stood up for "the children." As a result of Coakley's efforts -- and her contagious ambition -- Gov. Swift denied Amirault's clemency.

Thanks to Martha Coakley, Gerald Amirault sat in prison for another three years.

...

Martha Coakley allowed her ambition to trump basic human decency as she campaigned to keep a patently innocent man in prison.

Anyone with the smallest sense of justice cannot vote to put this woman in any office. If you absolutely cannot vote for a Republican on Jan. 19, 2010, write in the name "Gerald Amirault."
Not the first District Attorney to abuse the office, I'm sure. But this one, this Martha Coakley, needs to have a time out. An extra three years as not-Senator would be just fine.

Here's ten good reasons NOT to vote for Martha Coakley...
1. She stated explicitly that pro-life Catholics shouldn’t work in the medical professions; in other words, Catholics have no right to act upon their conscience while performing their jobs. That’s a clear violation of freedom of religion. In Coakley’s words: “You can have religious freedom but you probably shouldn’t work in the emergency room.”

2. She stated explicitly that she doesn’t believe there are any more terrorists in Afghanistan: “The mission in Afghanistan was to go in because we believed that the Taliban was giving harbor to terrorists… they’re gone. They’re not there any more.”

3. She stated explicitly that obtaining endorsements from Democratic politicos are more important than winning the support from the actual constituents of Massachusetts. Coakley angrily said political endorsements were preferable to “standing outside Fenway Park, in the cold, shaking hands” – precisely what her opponent, Republican Scott Brown, was doing.

4. The same statement revealed that she was unaware of the importance of Fenway Park, and the Boston Red Sox, to the people of Boston, the most important city in the state. Boston is perhaps most well known for the dedication of its fans to both the ballpark and its team.

5. Her campaign aide (an Obama presidential appointee) roughed up a reporter during a campaign event. Coakley claimed to not have seen the incident, despite a photo that was published later on showing that she stared directly at the reporter while he was on the ground. She still refuses to apologize or even condemn the action taken by her staff.

6. While a District Attorney, Coakley lobbied for the conviction of a mother, daughter and son trio on charges of child abuse, despite no actual evidence of the crimes occurring, and using only coerced testimony from young children. She was also more lenient on the mother and daughter, because such crimes are “usually” the result of “a primary male offender."

7. She’s using the late Sen. Edward Kennedy’s memory to raise campaign cash, earning over a million dollars by appeals from Kennedy’s widow. Meanwhile, her opponent, Republican Scott Brown, has earned nearly the same amount simply by appealing to the hearts and minds of Republicans in Massachusetts and across the nation.

8. She’s relying on President Obama to campaign for her during the eleventh hour, despite kicking her feet up the other three months of her campaign – apparently because she thought Massachusetts voters would blindly vote for whatever Democrat was thrown in front of their faces.

9. She’s an outspoken advocate of the health reform bill which, in it’s latest iteration, will exclude union members and government workers from taxes on health insurance plans while taxing other classes of Americans; this will further incentivize union membership and funding of Democratic candidates.

10. She will provide the crucial 60th vote for Senate Democrats, allowing them to maintain the Democratic supermajority, and pass health care.
Oh, and don't forget these late-breaking OTHER big reasons: Obama has unleashed his ACORN attack dogs, the SEIU. He's paying purple-shirted thugs that are being bussed in to Massachusetts to sit with signs at Scott Brown rallies.

But it seems even some SEIU members are jumping ship to the Scott Brown campaign!

That, and the smear campaign Martha Coakley and Democrats unleashed against Scott Brown. Complicit in that smear attack: Barack Hussein Obama, who will be in Massachusetts today. Democrats will face criminal charges for that piece of work.

And Barack Hussein Obama's visit today? Too little, too late, says Politico.

Good news for the home team; for real Americans, if Scott Brown can pull this off.

This is a bitch slap...
Riding a wave of opposition to Democratic health-care reform, GOP upstart Scott Brown is leading in the U.S. Senate race, raising the odds of a historic upset that would reverberate all the way to the White House, a new poll shows.

Although Brown’s 4-point lead over Democrat Martha Coakley is within the Suffolk University/7News survey’s margin of error, the underdog’s position at the top of the results stunned even pollster David Paleologos.
Brings a smile to my stone face, yes it does.

Don't you love it when Democrats get caught in their own flypaper?

From Game Change: The 2008 Presidential Election.

Ben Smith at Politico...
One of the enduring mysteries of the 2008 campaign was what got Ted Kennedy so mad at Bill Clinton. The former president's entreaties, at some point, backfired, and the explanation has never quite emerged.

I've finally gotten my hands on a copy of Game Change, in which John Heliemann and Mark Halperin report:
[A]s Hillary bungled Caroline, Bill’s handling of Ted was even worse. The day after Iowa, he phoned Kennedy and pressed for an endorsement, making the case for his wife. But Bill then went on, belittling Obama in a manner that deeply offended Kennedy. Recounting the conversation later to a friend, Teddy fumed that Clinton had said, A few yeas ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee.
"Fetch my coffee, boy, and while you're at it pick up Hillary's dry cleaning. Oh, and polish Sarah Palin's pumps, there's a good laddie..."

Not only does Bill Clinton become exposed as a closet racist (again!) but Harry Reid also gave up 2008 racial statements, for which he's come forward with a surprise apology...
The top Democrat in the U.S. Senate apologized on Saturday for comments he made about Barack Obama's race during the 2008 presidential bid.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada described then-Sen. Barack Obama as "light skinned" and "with no Negro dialect."
Even Joe Biden had some disparaging comments about BHO, calling him 'articulate, bright and clean'.

These Democrats. Just can't trust 'em, can you, Barry?

Tuesday, September 1, 2009

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada) has dropped an astounding line...

Reid: Teddy's death "going to help us"

The Reno Gazette-Journal has a sit-down with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), who addresses the Ted Kennedy question in, um, an interesting way.

Q: How will U.S. Sen. (Edward) Kennedy's death affect things?

A: I think it's going to help us. He hasn't been around for some time. We're going to have a new chairman of that committee, it'll be, I don't know for sure, but I think Sen. (Chris) Dodd, (D-Conn.). He has a right to take it. Either him or (U.S. Sen. Tom) Harkin, (D-Iowa), whichever one wants it can have it. I think he (Kennedy) will be a help. He's an inspiration for us. That was the issue of his life and he didn't get it done.

Well, one thing for sure, Mr. Reid, we don't have to worry about Washington's alcohol consumption diminishing. You seem to have picked up Uncle Ted's slack.

What's that you say? You're not drunk just yet, but you did, undistilled, utter a foolheaded line like that?

Harry Reid, Why did you hate Ted Kennedy?

I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.

/Mary Jo Kopechne

(maybe, if she’d lived long enough to be able to write something like that on paper. Would she willingly give her life for Ted Kennedy’s later ’successes’? If she were visited by one of Marley’s ghosts, and asked to choose, before her untimely death, given the future’s history, would she have chosen to asphyxiate in a bubble of air in the bottom of a foul, dark lake? For Ted?

Ted Kennedy reveled in living his life in spite of the death of Mary Jo Kopechne; a death that would’ve ended the career of most any other politician, especially one with an ‘R’ after the name.

The Kennedy name; I hope it lives on only in infamy.

Oh, and that’s Ayn Rand’s quote, really.  )

A comment I left on Doctor Zero's post "The Death of the Individual", a well-written summary of Ted Kennedy's rise to fame only after the 'sacrifice' of Mary Jo Kopechne.

(And Doctor Zero, how could you write an entire essay on 'individualism' without one mention of Ayn Rand?? )

Also seen, behind The Green Door, Karl of ex-PW fame (also posting at Patterico's, but I'm not reading there anymore, given his assholic history re: Jeff G.)...
The unspoken legacy of Ted Kennedy
Karl is known for his detailed posts, with thousands of links, making this post a great resource.

The post-Chappaquiddick Ted Kennedy alienated the socially conservative and hawkish members of the Democratic Party, driving many of them into what ultimately became the Reagan coalition. He preserved Massachusetts liberalism as a Democratic ideal that failed every time it ran for the presidency. And that is a legacy Democrats want to discuss even less than Chappaquiddick.

Media morons like MSNBC’s Chris Matthews may have rushed to cast Pres. Obama as the last Kennedy brother. Pres. Obama was smart enough to call Ted Kennedy’s death the closing of a chapter in our history. The last thing Barack Obama needs is to be cast as Curly Joe Besser in the Kennedy family drama, for there is no political advantage in it for him.

Oh, and it's The Green Room, not Behind the Green Door~!

...whether they realize it or not.

h/t Grandpa John via American Power Blog.

Ever heard of the Newseum? These good folks archive the front pages of newspapers, some 837 or so a day. This Milwaukee Journal Sentinel front page obviously came from August 27; see page 12 for this one.

God Term-Limited Ted Kennedy. A shame there weren't enough opposition voters in Masshole to get him out of office sooner.

Today's funeral was ostentatious. The state-run media played their parts, giving this leftist, elected politician a King's sendoff.

Just listen to the programmed kids pushing health care.

But there was plenty of voices who spoke truth to Ted Kennedy's life of excesses. Some folks had fun.

Jim Treacher, on the Twitter:
Indeed, Joe, we could have once more seen Camelot Ascendant, were it not for Excalibur being denied to the Rightful Heir by the Lady in the Lake.

This hooker isn't breathing. Fortunately for me, my brothers were secular martyrs and I like to give away other people's money. #teddymath

He was called the Lion of the Senate. Not for his white mane or mighty roar, but because he mated without limits and killed without remorse.

From "Ask not what your country can do for you" to "Ask not why we're exploiting our grandkids to ask your country to do things for you."

Sarah Palin praying for her son in Iraq = Fundamentalist kookery. Ted's grandson praying for socialized medicine = Personal, private moment.

Doctor Zero, a rising blogger-star working Hot Air's Green Room, delivers some masterful parody...
The otherwise flawless execution of the funeral procession was disrupted only by a brief moment of confusion when the pall bearers assembled to carry the Senator’s casket into the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum, where his body will lie in repose. According to event organizers, Kennedy’s will had originally asked for his longest-serving colleagues from the Senate to serve as pall bearers, but upon learning that several of these senators are Republicans, the will was hastily re-written to allow the governor of Massachusetts to select the pall bearers instead. A legal challenge was immediately referred to the Supreme Court. Fortunately for the restless crowds of mourners, the legal impasse was broken when an exasperated Michelle Obama grabbed the casket and carried it into the library by herself.
Deathploitation, or How We Renamed ObamaCare as "Do it for Ted Kennedy's Memory! (except that unfortunate incident in 1969, of course...)"

Oh, on Obamacare... Charles Krauthammer opines that ObamaCare is dead because of reality, not because of teabaggery...
What's killing the Obama health plan is not the Republicans, it's not the Blue Dogs, it isn't the rallies in the town meetings. It's numbers. It's reality. Obama says: "I'm going to expand coverage and reduce the cost." And the CBO, the Congressional Budget Office, steps in and gives you numbers. It says: No, it will not reduce. It will increase our costs by $1 trillion.

Obama says: "Oh, yes, [cost might rise] in the first decade , and then it will decline." The CBO says no. There will be an increase in the deficit in the second decade. It's the numbers and the reality that is sinking Obamacare.
I'm betting that not even Ted Kennedy's name will save that bill.

Well, so we see Ted Kennedy finally exit stage left. Let's hope his last-minute plea for salvation works out well for him. But, Catholic funeral or not, he's got some 'splaining to do...
It is up to God to judge Senator Kennedy’s soul. We, as rational persons, must judge his actions, and his actions were not at all in line with one who values and carefully applies Church teaching on weighty matters. Ted Kennedy’s positions on a variety of issues have been a grave scandal for decades, and to honor this “catholic” champion of the culture of death with a Catholic funeral is unjust to those who have actually paid the price of fidelity. We now find out that President Obama will eulogize the Senator at his funeral—an indignity which, following on the heels of the Notre Dame fiasco, leaves faithful Catholics feeling sullied, desecrated and dehumanized by men who seem to look for opportunities to slap the Church in the face and do so with impunity simply because they have positions of power.
Abortion, stem cell research, all those things morally reprehensible to Catholics, he embraced, just like a good liberal should. That served him well during his life. We won't know how that will serve him afterlife, but let's hope he finds mercy. Because there's no waterboarding where he might wind up...

This, from Sweetness & Light, is the complete text of the Committee on State Security of the USSR's letter to Comrade Y.V. Andropov, detailing Ted Kennedy's offer to give them 'Community Organization' pointers, including sending Dan Rather to Moscow to manipulate our media. This is proof of Ted Kennedy's near-treason AFAIC...

Special Importance
Committee on State Security of the USSR
14.05. 1983 No. 1029 Ch/OV
Moscow

Regarding Senator Kennedy’s request to the General Secretary of the Communist Party Comrade Y.V. Andropov

Comrade Y.V. Andropov

On 9-10 May of this year, Senator Edward Kennedy’s close friend and trusted confidant J. Tunney was in Moscow. The senator charged Tunney to convey the following message, through confidential contacts, to the General Secretary of the Center Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, Y. Andropov.

Senator Kennedy, like other rational people, is very troubled by the current state of Soviet-American relations. Events are developing such that this relationship coupled with the general state of global affairs will make the situation even more dangerous. The main reason for this is Reagan’s belligerence, and his firm commitment to deploy new American middle range nuclear weapons within Western Europe.

According to Kennedy, the current threat is due to the President’s refusal to engage any modification on his politics. He feels that his domestic standing has been strengthened because of the well publicized improvement of the economy: inflation has been greatly reduced, production levels are increasing as is overall business activity. For these reasons, interest rates will continue to decline. The White House has portrayed this in the media as the "success of Reaganomics."

Naturally, not everything in the province of economics has gone according to Reagan’s plan. A few well known economists and members of financial circles, particularly from the north-eastern states, foresee certain hidden tendencies that many bring about a new economic crisis in the USA. This could bring about the fall of the presidential campaign of 1984, which would benefit the Democratic party. Nevertheless, there are no secure assurances this will indeed develop.

The only real threats to Reagan are problems of war and peace and Soviet-American relations. These issues, according to the senator, will without a doubt become the most important of the election campaign. The movement advocating a freeze on nuclear arsenals of both countries continues to gain strength in the United States. The movement is also willing to accept preparations, particularly from Kennedy, for its continued growth. In political and influential circles of the country, including within Congress, the resistance to growing military expenditures is gaining strength.

However, according to Kennedy, the opposition to Reagan is still very weak. Reagan’s adversaries are divided and the presentations they make are not fully effective. Meanwhile, Reagan has the capabilities to effectively counter any propaganda. In order to neutralize criticism that the talks between the USA and the USSR are non-constructive, Reagan will grandiose, but subjectively propagandistic. At the same time, Soviet officials who speak about disarmament will be quoted out of context, silenced or groundlessly and whimsically discounted. Although arguments and statements by officials of the USSR do appear in the press, it is important to note the majority of Americans do not read serious newspapers or periodicals.

Kennedy believes that, given the current state of affairs, and in the interest of peace, it would be prudent and timely to undertake the following steps to counter the militaristic politics of Reagan and his campaign to psychologically burden the American people. In this regard, he offers the following proposals to the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union Y.V. Andropov:

1. Kennedy asks Y.V. Andropov to consider inviting the senator to Moscow for a personal meeting in July of this year. The main purpose of the meeting, according to the senator, would be to arm Soviet officials with explanations regarding problems of nuclear disarmament so they may be better prepared and more convincing during appearances in the USA. He would also like to inform you that he has planned a trip through Western Europe, where he anticipates meeting England’s Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and French President Mitterand in which he will exchange similar ideas regarding the same issues.

If his proposals would be accepted in principle, Kennedy would send his representative to Moscow to resolve questions regarding organizing such a visit.

Kennedy thinks the benefits of a meeting with Y.V.Andropov will be enhanced if he could also invite one of the well known Republican senators, for example, Mark Hatfield. Such a meeting will have a strong impact on American and political circles in the USA (In March of 1982, Hatfield and Kennedy proposed a project to freeze the nuclear arsenals of the USA and USSR and published a book on the theme as well.)

2. Kennedy believes that in order to influence Americans it would be important to organize in August-September of this year, televised interviews with Y.V. Andropov in the USA. A direct appeal by the General Secretary to the American people will, without a doubt, attact a great deal of attention and interest in the country. The senator is convinced this would receive the maximum resonance in so far as television is the most effective method of mass media and information.

If the proposal is recognized as worthy, then Kennedy and his friends will bring about suitable steps to have representatives of the largest television companies in the USA contact Y.V. Andropov for an invitation to Moscow for the interview. Specifically, the president of the board of directors of ABC, Elton Raul and television columnists Walter Cronkite or Barbara Walters could visit Moscow. The senator underlined the importance that this initiative should be seen as coming from the American side.

Furthermore, with the same purpose in mind, a series of televised interviews in the USA with lower level Soviet officials, particularly from the military would be organized. They would also have an opportunity to appeal directly to the American people about the peaceful intentions of the USSR, with their own arguments about maintaining a true balance of power between the USSR and the USA in military term. This issue is quickly being distorted by Reagan’s administration.

Kennedy asked to convey that this appeal to the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union is his effort to contribute a strong proposal that would root out the threat of nuclear war, and to improve Soviet-American relations, so that they define the safety of the world. Kennedy is very impressed with the activities of Y.V. Andropov and other Soviet leaders, who expressed their commitment to heal international affairs, and improve mutual understandings between peoples.

The senator underscored that he eagerly awaits a reply to his appeal, the answer to which may be delivered through Tunney.

Having conveyed Kennedy’s appeal to the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, Tunney also explained that Senator Kennedy has in the last few years actively made appearances to reduce the threat of war. Because he formally refused to partake in the election campaign of 1984, his speeches would be taken without prejudice as they are not tied to any campaign promises. Tunney remarked that the senator wants to run for president in 1988. At that time, he will be 56 and his personal problems, which could hinder his standing, will be resolved (Kennedy has just completed a divorce and plans to remarry in the near future). Taken together, Kennedy does not discount that during the 1984 campaign, the Democratic Party may officially turn to him to lead the fight against the Republicans and elect their candidate president. This would explain why he is convinced that none of the candidates today have a real chance at defeating Reagan.

We await instructions.

President of the committee
V. Chebrikov

(emboldenings mine, for the most part.)

This proposal to aid the USSR's government was made by 'Proggtard's Hero' Ted Kennedy, being buried today in Arlington Cemetery, resting place of real American Heroes. If this had worked out for Ted, then the USSR might not have fallen. We might still have that Wall.

All I can say is, Thank You, God, for term limits.

Darleen Click, conservative blogger at Protein Wisdom, has an excellent post up today...
Pimping Ted Kennedy’s corpse [Darleen Click]

From the execrable Nancy Pelosi to Kleagle Robert Byrd; from radical leftwing MSNBC to The Worthless One, Jimmy Carter; not even 24 hours could pass without them shamelessly running Teddy’s corpse up the flag pole and demanding we salute it by giving up our liberty.

Democrats are invoking the late Senator Edward M. Kennedy’s commitment to universal health-care coverage in seeking regain political momentum to pass a U.S. health overhaul plan by the end of the year.

Excuse me, but fuck that noise.

And the cynical laudatory scribblings from the Leftcult’s Vagina Warrior apparatchiks are stomach turning since Teddy was infamous for considering the female half of the nation as nothing more than a box of kleenex in service of his penis’ needs. And, no, being nice to John McCain’s son doesn’t ameliorate Mary Jo’s death.

Cindy Sheehan made a career of pimping her dead son’s corpse. Democrats have surpassed her in a mere day’s time.

Heh. I'm traveling, so Darleen, let me say "Hear, Hear!"

Because that's all I've heard. Out-of-place hero worship. For a man who is not, nor has he ever been, a hero.

Mary Jo! Mary Jo! Mary Jo!
