Dr. Krauthammer was being very nice here; with all due respect Mr. 'President'. Yes, this speech was a disgrace, it was dis-harmonic, and disgusting. 'A Disgrace', 'Shallow', 'Hyper-partisan' and 'Deeply Dishonest', all of those descriptors are valid.

Other reactions: the WSJ, "Obama's toxic speech" was "dishonest even by modern political standards".

Barack Obama even put Joe Biden to sleep.

Barack Obama is not worthy of being President of the United States of America; even though we are in a steep decline, we deserved better.

Here's what our debt load means. Just last year, we spent $413 billion in interest payements on the debt. Since 1988, we have paid $8 trillion in interest payments on our national debt service; most of that going to foreign nations to help them advance their economies (hello, China!). Interest payments on the debt are what's killing us.



Eventually, we will have to default on our debt payments. Will our government survive that? Is that the 'reset' button we've been waiting for? Likely.

This speech by BHO adds nothing but vitriol to the nation's problems.
