Well, of course he's lost his 'Glow'. When you take a mere human, a fundamentally flawed human who's obviously suffering from a noticeable splash of narcissism and artificially 'pump him UP!' as did the fawning JournoList-influenced media for so many years, then you must expect a fall. Is the New York Times oblivious to human nature, or did they really believe in the ObamaMessiah ?

From the NYT...
SEOUL, South Korea — Foreign leaders couldn’t seem to get enough of President Obama when he arrived on the world stage two years ago. They brought copies of his memoir to global conferences seeking his autograph. They angled for handshakes and “bilats” — diplomatic jargon for a one-on-one meeting, or bilateral. They maneuvered to get next to him in photo opportunities.

Now the glow has worn off, both overseas and at home. So when the Group of 20 conference of world leaders — a gathering marked by fights over currency and global trade imbalances between the United States and its allies — wrapped up here on Friday, Mr. Obama found himself on the defensive.

When a reporter asked Mr. Obama at his closing news conference what kind of complaints he was hearing from fellow leaders about the United States, the president laughed and wondered — only half-joking — why he wasn’t being asked about compliments. He said other world leaders are pushing back against the United States because “we’re initiating ideas.”

And when Mr. Obama was asked if the mid-term elections at home have weakened him overseas, he started out with a one word answer — “no” — before going on to say that people are “eager to work with America, eager to engage.”

Before leaving Washington for a 10-day diplomatic tour of Asia that he has characterized as an economic mission, Mr. Obama conceded his relationship with the American people has come down from an “incredible high” and gotten “rockier and tougher” as time went on. But he said here on Friday that his relations with foreign counterparts leaders are better than ever.
Not really. Barack was pummeled by China's president Hu Jintao, who seems to hold the fate of the United States in his hands.
"This hasn't been a love-fest," an official who participated in the negotiations said.
No love for the largest debtor nation in the world?

No love.
China said on Thursday that the U.S. Federal Reserve's move to ease monetary policy risked undermining the global economic recovery, adding that Washington "should not force others to take medicine for its own disease".

A senior Chinese central bank official told reporters at the G20 summit in Seoul that the Fed's move had caused "strong concern" around the globe, and major reserve countries ought to factor in the global impact of their policies.
Brazil's President Lula used the 'B' word...
SEOUL (AFP)--Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said Thursday the world economy was headed for "bankruptcy" unless rich nations raise consumer demand rather than relying on exports to power recovery.

"If they don't consume, and they just bet on exports, the world will go into bankruptcy," he told reporters as leaders at the Group of 20 industrial and developing nations headed into a two-day summit in the South Korean capital.
It is cringe-worthy.
