Posted by kotang at 4:15 PMNPR has a fascinating story about Witold Pilecki, who infiltrated the infamous Auschwitz (Oswiecim) concentration camp, sent amazing intelligence reports that his readers found hard to believe, and successfully escaped. Later he was captured by the communists and executed for espionage.
