Where, exactly, does this President get the authority to bypass due process and shakedown a multinational corporation, no matter what the circumstance? I'm all for BP having to pay what's necessary to clean up the gulf oil spill, but I am NOT for a president to take extra powers not given to him by the constitution to shake down said multinational corporation. A $20 Billion shakedown, the these crooked Democrats are already drooling over. The spineless Republican 'leadership' wouldn't stand behind Rep. Barton. Screw them! They're the ones who picked John McCain, aren't they? They have no standing with me. Screw 'em.

All that was missing at that White House meeting was Jesse Jackson, king of the shakedown.

Well, he was there alright, in fine Democrat spirit.
