Have you seen Obama's stiffed-necked attack on certain instruments of modern technology, the tools of social networking and the video games, when they're not working exclusively to his benefit? It seems certain electronic tools are not being used to ferment enough leftardiness to suit, so, here come ObamaSTRIKE! This line, from his commencement speech at Hampton University yesterday ...

"With iPods and iPads and Xboxes and PlayStations, -- none of which I know how to work -- information becomes a distraction, a diversion, a form of entertainment, rather than a tool of empowerment, rather than the means of emancipation," Obama said.

The keywords I find striking are of course 'empowerment' (a standard left-wing victimologist never leaves home with packing that one) and one we don't hear so often any more, 'emancipation'. These, used with 'entertainment', are triple-barreled attacks on  what Obama sees as spreading indifference to his methodology of ferment, and says two things to me: Mr. Obama hates any form of distraction or, even worse, any challenges to his desired direction; he's a feisty sumbitch who likes nothing more than a Chicago-styled tussle with ideological opponents. Unless of course they start to show signs of winning, then he starts this... whining.

Overall, it seems to me that his far-left political wave is cresting, if not already having already crested with ObamaCare; and November is edging ever closer. Obama will have to push hard to get more of his pet Marxi-pad projects passed before he suffers the expected losses come November. So, he's pressing, whining and pushing for more properly community-organized left-wing sock puppets to follow his pied-piper lead.

That second word, 'emancipation'. What, does this fool still think he or 'his people' are enslaved? Who, exactly, needs emancipation, other than our Constitution from his and other Social Democrat's dastardly grip?

I suppose speaking to Hampton University, he thinks he has to try to whip out old reminders of past causes...but didn't he and his ilk just get through trashing Virginia for remembering 'Confederate History Month'? Doesn't this get a call, for remembering essentially the same things? Or does remembering things only work if they are remembered in a vice of political correctness?

Tossing out 'emancipation' is nothing more than a throwback to Obama's Black Liberation Theology training under Reverend Wright, a cheap boner-trick thrown out to the students at a primarily black college to remind them of their history, to wrest their attention away from their video games and social networking that's possibly not properly attached to "Organizing for America". Noses back to the grindstone, kids, we still have a country to destroy CHANGE.

Might mean, too, that OFA's contributions are down this month.

What's the matter, O!, your message getting a bit worn around the edges? You're becoming stale to even 'your own people'? Do you resent not having people faint in your presence?

Hopefully he'll have more time on his hands after November; he'll be like Bill Clinton, no longer able to undermine the Constitution as easily as when he had a Democrat House and Senate.

Maybe Obama, like Clinton, will then have to take up underdesk Monica-style pleasings. Or somethings.

Anything besides his current pushing of America to trainwreck.
