The "New $100", gazed upon admiringly by Geithner, Bernanke and Prewitt. Got wheelbarrow ? We'll need lots of these soonest, for that loaf of bread...
What is not fine in a Democratic Republic is when certain political regimes rise up and begin taking advantage of the fact that they can vote for themselves monies from the treasury TO AN EXTREME, by clothing themselves and their actions in the shabby dress of 'for the people'; such voting and looting would herald "...the end of the Republic", as polymath Ben Franklin observed.
Worst of all is when one particular regime, what we now know as the 'Social Democrats', use monies from the treasury, monies taken from the producers or, as we see now happening, borrowed from the Chinese, the Japanese and the Saudis (all of whom Mr. Obama did bow down before...hmmmm....) or newly-printed as future interest-accruing debt, and taking that looted, borrowed and invented printed debt-backed money and with it buying...votes. Votes attracted from a weak-minded, soft, pulpy, American Idol sort of 'progressive' populace what is comprised of not the sorts of people the founders were thinking of when they imagined their heirs.
Weak, soft Americans have voted for themselves Social Democrats who've looted the future right out from under their successors.
Thanks, Progressives, you're killing the Republic, and you've killed our, and our children's and grandchildren's, futures.
expanded just slightly from a comment I left at this post, at the Kleinheider-less Post Politics.
