I know, it's not Friday, but it's been awhile, and I'm busy today.

This, found by my dad sometime in the '50's, somewhere in the high desert country of Arizona. It sat for years in a box in a closet, rediscovered by me just this weekend. I've no clue as to the exact location of it's origination, but if it's origin is the Sitgreaves area of Arizona, I could guess it's was from one of the Sinagua, Kayenta Anasazi, or Cohonina ruins that are prevalent throughout the region. Or not. Being a smallish (10-12 lbs. rock, it could've been moved by anyone, anytime, from just about anywhere.

But, being it's a thousand years old, or more, it's fascinating.
