Last May, this graphic made the rounds: Obama's Deficit, as calculated by the CBO and compared to Bush's deficit. I posted this hard-hitting 'fixed' version May 12.

Instapundit brought this chart up again, yesterday...
Notice anything? Like maybe how Bush’s deficits are dwarfed by Obama’s? And maybe how the deficit was falling throughout Bush’s second term? Until the very end, when TARP — hardly popular with the Tea Party crowd — rolled out. The “Bush was as big a spender as Obama” line is just a flat-out lie, which the apologists for the powers that be hope you’ll buy because . . . well, because a lie is pretty much all they’ve got at this point.

Related: The White House will predict a record budget deficit in the current fiscal year and more big shortfalls for the next decade in its upcoming budget proposal, a congressional source told Reuters on Sunday.
Yes, it's all over the news today:

Obama Offers Budget With Deficits as Far as Number-Crunchers Can See (Fox)

Deficit to Grow $100 Billion Under New Obama Budget (New York Times)

White House plans to address nation’s record $1.6 trillion deficit, hoping to cut $250 billion after 10 years (The Daily Caller)

That hope to cut the $250 Billion in 10 years isn't going to happen, unless Democrats are ousted from Congress and Republicans learn how to not act like Democrats if they ever get a chance to take power. One thing for certain: if Democrats stay in power, with control of the printing presses at the Federal Reserve, our deficit will balloon to the point where the economy will give up the ghost. With that, we will see anarchy and, well, CHANGE.

OH, and this...
[Iranian] state-run Press TV quoted Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Sunday as saying that the nation will deliver a harsh blow to "global arrogance" on February 11.

Press TV offered no details on or explanation of the statement.
February 11, of course, the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution (Feb. 11, 1979; the Islamic Mohammedean Ayatollah Khomeni wrested complete control of Iran. Later that year, in November, he seized the American Embassy and took the staff as hostages, most of whom stayed locked up until the ineffectual Jimmy Carter's (Democrat) term ended with the election and rise of Ronald Reagan (Republican, Hero). I guess Ahmadinejad is going to test our young, inexperienced, Democrat President.

Can you blame him? Obama seems ripe for the pushing.
