...as a contributor.
Should be an interesting gig for Sarah to further torment the leftists.
Dennis the Peasant notices one of the 'professional' lefty bloggers, Steve Benen of the Washington Monthly, posting some minor-league snark re: Governor Palin. His takedown of Steve Benin...
Let's see here...
Sarah Palin, in 1988, was NOT community organizing the Black community in Chicago; she was NOT becoming profoundly race-conscious, nor was she well on the path to becoming a far left-wing Progressive Liberal, a free-spending redistributionist; nor has Sarah ever been exposed to the overarching radicalism of Black Liberation Theology; nor has she ever associated with known Weatherman terrorists; nor would she EVER be construed as having "liberal guilt" and being "soft on crime". There's not even a hint of grievance-driven race-based politics in lovely Sarah's demeanor.
So there's that going for her.
Oh, and Steve Benin, I'd never heard of you. I'll go back to not caring what you think or write now, m'kay?

Now, as we all know, Steve is paid to cheerlead rather than think. But if Palin's resignation remains inexplicable to Benen at this late date, well, then the man really is as mediocre as his resume... Especially if he thinks landing a slot on Fox News doesn't constitute a major coup on her part. As of this date, all Palin has done since resigning is write a bestseller, go on a successful book tour and use the internet to drive Democrats crazy during the health care, er, insurance debate.Of course I left a comment at Steve Benin's trash dump...
What'd Steve do during those months? Other than jerk off the dimwit partisans at Washington Monthly, I mean: Appear on Rachel Maddow's show. Get linked at Huffington Post. Do NPR.
Wow.
