Secretary of State Hillary Clinton compared Nigeria’s corruption and electoral problems with the 2000 Florida presidential election recount during a town hall meeting today in Abuja, Nigeria. The reaction Hillary espouses is reflective of the core hatreds those on the Left have for those who are not.
Answering a question about Nigeria’s recent election, Clinton said, “In 2000, our presidential election came down to one state where the brother of the man running for President was the governor of the state. So we have our problems too.”
Gore was immensely popular during his two U.S. Senate terms, but while following as V.P., on Bill Clinton’s coattails, he completely and utterly aligned with left-leaning politics that weren’t representative of average Tennesseans, and emerged as a globalist with misanthropic leanings. And, in 1992, he wrote that terrible “Earth in the Balance”, a warning precursor to his brewing envirowhackism. (Oh, Tennessee is my home state, and I’m proud to have helped defeat Big Al; those of us in the NRA should be given credit for getting out the vote, campaigning tirelessly and eventually beating this bit of Human Pretense.)
So, when Hillary or any other member of the New Left slips and occasionally lets out ’secret feelings’, we should immediately highlight that ’slip’ as pointing to their core beliefs. Thanks, Karl, for getting this out.
