Feasting on Sarah Palin: Destructive Interference (or, what's up with certain Right Bloggers?)
Posted by kotang at 6:06 AM
I finally made it over to that monster thread at Hot Air (3400+ comments) where Ed Morrisey made the mistake of posting Palin contrariness. That post’s more like the AllahPundit’s wankery. I’m part of that thread’s history now, I suppose.
“…repugnance of that landscape…” Again, we, the repugs, will have to master the tactics of Alinsky or we will not have a chance. We are facing a full-time Community O!rganizer of such power and with such backing that to rely on wordy arguments will not suffice. We need a populist with our own sort of CHANGE; not a washed-up Romney or a houndawggy Huckabee. Those two had their chances and couldn’t beat a more-than-halfway-progressive old man with no fire left in his belly.
Will Sarah Palin stay afire? Not if we, her target audience, commence to feast on her not-dead-yet political carcass.
Oh...the comment I left at HotAir...
Well, I haven’t read all 3400 or so comments, but I have one.
Ed, WTF? Do you think you are (or are you trying to be) some sort of yesterday’s old-school Journalist (you know, the Walter Cronkite sort of impartiality, or the “just the facts, ma’am” sort of neutrality) or something? Do you really expect your audience (’highly opinionated’ would a kind descriptor) to want to hear any negatives about anyone on our side? When we have the worst bastiche possible sitting in the Oval Office (NOT a good man, sorry, Patterico)…?
You are a Right blogger, Ed. Don’t interfere with the Right-side waves.
