Tennessee Southern Rail Road, that is. This taken last Friday in Lawrenceburg.

This is a panorama (stitched) photo, from 3 separate pics, stitched together using the remarkable Hugin 0.7.0 software package. I found and downloaded the 386 platform (WIN) this morning, and managed to put this neat photo together with little difficulty. The output file is a .tif, but that's easily changed with the GIMP. And, the blue skies, fixing the overexposed white-out, thanks to Darla's Blue Skies script.
This is much more powerful software than comes bundled with the Canon cameras, the lowly photostich, as Hugin will auto-correct exposures. Hugin seems to read photo's data and uses the reported lens apertures to correct for parallax errors..to a degree.
This program is worth having around. I think I'll use it often.
