Will I be able to finally go back to bars? Pick up the pool cue again, for profit?
In jolly old England, a pub is selling electronic cigarettes. Nicotine, necessary for those addicted to that substance, delivered without smoke and fire. Without the fumes; without the exhale of second hand smoke; without the smell on your clothes; without the ashes! Will kissing a smoker no longer be like licking a dirty ashtray?
From Google news...
This sounds like a fantastic product. Look for it soon, in airplanes, bars, and theaters near you. The cost?
Nevermind that...order them now. A starter kit for $166.00 (includes 50 refills, each good for 12-18 'smokes'). Be sure to choose your nicotine level, and flavor (tobacco, Marlboro, or mint). Heh. Kool Milds, my old smoke. Refills? Since each cartridge refill is equal to 12-18 regular butts, 20 refills costs $50; let's see...go with 15 smokes per refill to make the math easier...300 cigarettes per $50 refill, that's 15 packs of cigaretts at $4.00 per pack. That's $60 right there.
What are you waiting for? Start sucking electronic butt, man~!

A pub is selling electronic cigarettes which can be smoked indoors in a bid to beat the smoking ban.I haven't smoked in years. I quit with a crutch: I started dipping Skoal. Nicotine, delivered; no smoke, no fire. I could dip on airplanes with no hassle. I could dip in meetings. Discreet, with no questions asked. After a while, I gave that up, so I'm nicotine free. But I'm now allergic to second-hand smoke: the watering eyes, the adverse reactions.
The E.Cigs went on sale at The Butler's Arms in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, last week. Landlord Chris Giles hopes the gadgets will bring smokers back inside as winter approaches.
Smoking in enclosed public places has been banned since new legislation was introduced last July, causing a downturn in trade for many pubs and bars.
The E.Cig device, black with a blue neon tip, uses a small replaceable filter filled with nicotine but contains no tobacco or carbon monoxide. The makers of the product, The Electronic Cigarette Company, claims the gadgets offer a "new generation of healthier smoking".

The Butler's Arms is selling the cigarettes and 10 filters - which is the equivalent of 150 cigarettes - for £36.99 each.Hmmmph. Seven packs of butts, here is what? $35? If my pound-fu is correct, 150 electronic cigarettes would be about $73.00, so just about double what people pay per pack here, in tobaccoland.
Miss Giles said: "They are far cheaper than a week's worth of cigarettes, and much healthier. We think they are really going to catch on."
