Obama's Hopey, Fluffy Puffiness: Is it Time Magazine's coverage, or the Onion's? Wait. it's...it's...Hopey Puffs!
Posted by kotang at 4:00 AMThe Onion's latest bit of satire inspires this 'chop....
thanks, Dan, for the help.
'Time' Publishes Definitive Obama Puff PieceIf you didn't check the URL, you would think this isn't a spoof at all, given Barack's light, fluffy, puffy treatment by the MSM.
"No news publication has dared to barely scratch the surface like this before," columnist and campaign reporter Michael King wrote in The Washington Post Tuesday. "This profile sets a benchmark for mindless filler by which all other features about Sen. Obama will now be judged. Just impressive puff-journalism all around."
Don't you just love it when supposedly trained reporters throw off real journalism to feed a politician's hype machine? If it weren't for a few bloggers, Barack wouldn't have anything but smooth sailing to the presidency.
And we'd have Jeremiah Wright in a cabinet-level posting--probably as Oligarch of the newly-formed Black Liberation Ministry.
I don't know which is puffier...the coverage Barack Obama gets from
Barack Obama's platform? Now there's an Escher print waiting for change...
