The original series Star Trek episode #70 "Let That Be Your Last Battlefield" has itched at me until I finally gave it a pshop scratch.
In this episode, Frank Goshin won a Emmy award for his portrayal of black-white (sorry, white-black) Bele. His opposite, Lokai, was exactly like him, politically speaking, just as Obama and Clinton are nearly exactly alike in their leftist agendas. Neither should take on the reins of the Executive. From the episode...
The difference is pointed out by Bele to a perplexed Captain Kirk who asks what is the difference between them, to which he replies, "Isn't it obvious? Lokai is white on the right side. All his people are white on the right side."Given the dichotomies of dualities in standard-issue liberal Democratic politics (Gender and Race divisiveness, both of which are epidemic in this fun-to-watch Democratic primary season) this pshop is a natural. Democrats are quick to ply their tools of division against Republicans and Conservatives, now they themselves get caught up in their own self-invigorated venom and hatred.
How long will this hate fest between Obama and Clinton continue? Let's hope that we see this level of antagonism all the way to the Democratic Convention.
I get a warm feeling of transposed roles here; a sense of tables turned.
Isn't it obvious?
h/t Dan Collins for his input.
