I'm no real fan of the Oscars. I commented yesterday that the last Oscar broadcast I sat through was when Jack Palance did his one-armed push-ups (that was 1992!) (when Unforgiven won top honors, I think...my favorite film of the '90's, without a doubt.)
This year, all four top leading role Oscars go to Europeans.
- Best Supporting Actor: Javier Bardem, Spain, "No Country for Old Men"
- Best Supporting Actress: Tilda Swinton, England, "Michael Clayton"
- Best Actress: Marion Cotillard, France, "La Vie en Rose"
- Best Actor: Daniel Day-Lewis, England, "There Will Be Blood"
So, here's a pic of Marion Cotillard, Best Actress (given my zest for pulchritude... ;D
Labels: Hollyweird on display, just for fun, Pulchritude
