Now, he says in his analysis that New Orleans was scheduled 'tougher' than the Steelers. Let's see...they started out with the Colts, lost that one incredibly badly, lost again to Tampa Bay...then the Titans come in to the Dome, and whupped them as well.

My take would be that the Titans were supposed to be a 'gimme' home opener for the Saints. No one expected the Titans to hold a 2-1 record at this point; I entertained the notion that a 0-3 start was not implausible. But, lo and Behold, we whipped Jacksonville and only lost to the Colts by 2 points (whereas the Saints were trammeled 41-10 in the NFL Season Opener.) A bit of a miscalculation on the league's part, I'd say...

Let's hope the Titans continue to surprise everyone, starting with Atlanta at home in a couple weeks. They should be well-rested and ready for...hmmmm. No Vick, so I guess we'll be treated to...Joey Harrington? The same Joey Harrington who lost for three seasons with the Lions? Shame, that. He probably would've had better numbers with a decent team. Maybe he'll find his happiness in Atlanta. Every dog has his day... 

I'm really looking forward to the October 28th game at home, vs. the Oakland Raiders....Halloween, and the Raiders? Ha! I'll have to take more than my average 170 pictures for that one....the freakshow will be out in force.
