Metro Nashille Police Arrest Truckstop Serial Killer (well, probable, to be correct, but for a few minor details, this one is Solved...)

Bruce Mendenhall, an Illinois Tuck Driver, was busted at Nashville's Truck Stops of America on North First St, for the June 6 murder of Sara Hulbert.
It's a good thing when a murderer is taken off of our streets. Give Metro Detective Pat Postiglione credit for that; he solved this crime. What's interesting is this line: from Nashville's City Paper
Asked if he believes Mendenhall will eventually come forward about additional unsolved murders, Postiglione said, “I would say that’s probably a really good possibility.”Yeah, but they had a pretty good idea, given that two prostitutes were killed at truck stops here in this area, in a relatively short span of time.
Postiglione said police and even federal authorities were unaware of the scope of their suspect’s alleged killing spree.
It's a standard plot: Hookers wake up dead while plying their trades. Weird-looking guy is making a hobby of killing them. It's a good thing he was sloppy, and left a 'mess' in the cab of his truck, because otherwise he might still be out there.
Mendenhall agreed to a search of the truck, which turned up additional evidence that Postiglione considered incriminating.Kudos to Nashville's Detective Pat Postiglione.
"At that point, we were pretty sure we had the right truck," he said. "Subsequently, he did give a statement to us implicating himself in several homicides."
During questioning, police say Mendenhall implicated himself in Hulbert's death, as well as the slaying of Symantha Winters, 48, who was found shot to death and dumped in a garbage bin at a Lebanon, Tenn., truck stop on June 6.
Mendenhall also made statements that appeared to implicate himself in a killing in Alabama, another in Georgia and two in Indiana over the past several months, Postiglione said.
Tennessee has the Death Penalty, Mendenhall. If this turns out to be as it seems, we should definitely put it to use. And before he dies of old age...
