We knew Obama would eventually, finally, come out and play his race card.

Speaking to a conference of Black Clergy at Hampton University, Obama spoke of a "quiet riot" going on amongst blacks, caused...you guessed it...by George Bush's directing of Hurricaine Katrina towards New Orleans instead of, oh, Pensacola, where fewer blacks would have been affected (Bush's Director of Hurricaine Placement was fired for his incompetance, I'm sure, and the New Director certainly did well last year...let's see if Bush can make amends this year, by landing one in a white chocolate city...)

"This administration was colorblind in its incompetence,"
Now, Obama, colorblind is a good thing, isn't it? What, you couldn't find any overt racism, so you invent 'Incompetance Racism'? Is that as, say, riot-worthy as back-of-the-bus or lunch-counter racism? Or, as riot-worthy as police whipping up on Rodney King?
"Those 'quiet riots' that take place every day are born from the same place as the fires and the destruction and the police decked out in riot gear and the deaths," Obama said. "They happen when a sense of disconnect settles in and hope dissipates. Despair takes hold and young people all across this country look at the way the world is and believe that things are never going to get any better."
Ah, so Bush is responsible for a disconnected sense of despair and hopelessness among Blacks, that could erupt in Riots at any minute. No Foolin'!

I would expect that such Riots could also occur when young people are whipped into a frenzy by highly oratorical ministers and self-serving leaders who would rather look to the Government for their manna, rather than directing youth to look to their inner strengths and promote some individual responsibility for their lives and futures. Come on, Obama, if you want to lead people, do so as one who has a direction to show, not just indirection for votes.
Several ministers at the conference said Obama's message and style plays well among black voters and with their spiritual leaders.

The Rev. Robert Abbott, pastor of the Holy Trinity Baptist Church in Amityville, N.Y., said Obama connects with black audiences because of the preacher's style he uses when addressing them.

"The way he sounds, it's like he can reach out and encourage people," Abbott said.
Yes, Reverend, he can encourage people, but encourage them to do what? Riot?

That kind of 'encouragement' works well for the 'other' side's religious leaders: Mullahs, Imams, Clerics, False Prophets...
