I'm still fuming over 'ANOTHER Illegal Alien Non-Citizen whom Bush Loves' killing a Citizen. Yesterday, I posted the first news I saw on the accident (from the Nasvhille City Paper). Today, that fine publication has more, including a statement from "Jose Gonzalez, one of Nashville’s most prominent Hispanic leaders" (a hand-wringer who just wants to make all of this go away, so the Bush-Kennedy-McCain-Feingold (sorry, that just came to my fingers) bill can sail through, giving away our country to the Reconquistas.
THE GOOD

If we really want to make Citizenship in this nation a draw (something that illegal immigrants don't really care about, and the Bush-Kennedy-McCain Amnesty Plan doesn't address well enough-if Illegals want to become citizens under the Bush-supported Bill, then they have to pay $500, go home, and re-enter; but if they don't care about Citizenship, then they automatically become a Not-Citizen but Not-Illegal-Anymore...and Bush calls this Not-Amnesty) then we should make Citizenship more attractive to them.
For example: Only Citizens or registered Guests can purchase and consume alcohol products. If they want to drink, then get legal papers.
Only Citizens can buy large, expensive SUV's (Joycelyn was driving a small Pontiac Gran Prix; Victor was tooling about in a large, gas-guzzling Ford Expedition). Limit non-citizens to Hondas or Hyundais.
Health care: what can you say? We can't let them die in the streets. Instead, put INS officials in Emergency Rooms to verify Citizenship upon entry. Deport the non-Citizens, without papers, who try to sneak- free medical care.
My point is, we take too much for granted. Citizens should have priority status in our country. We're the ones paying the bills, and should be the ones getting the best benefits. The reason so many illegals come here and take advantage of us is, we let them.
Close off the teats!
BTW Notes:
A memorial to Vitims of Illegal Immigrant killings, including a new one listing Joycelyn Gardiner.
World Net Daily has more on the nationwide Illegal Immigrant Killing Spree.
You won't find much information at all in Nashville's Left-Wringing Tennessean. I did go there, unfortunately, having to search for a picture of the latest killer (found it at the Nashville Police Department's release, and that only from the Comments Section...h/t poster Houston). The Tennessean? One small paragraph, from Tuesday, in the Sports Section! And only mentioning the Killer's Immigration Status in the last paragraph.
I tell you, The Tennessean Sucks. Always. From the Left Teat....
Update 6:00 PM
I just picked up my email (sent today while I was working away, in my non-computer-equipped day job...it's good to not drive a computer all day long, I guess, but that doesn't help my blogging. Most bloggers, I suppose, like to sit around and post messages and harass each other online all day long; that's not me, obviously.)
From Theresa Harmon, co-founder of 'Tennesseans for Responsible Immigration Policies'
Theresa send a link to their page monitoring and compiling a list of Tennesseans murdered by Illegal Aliens.
From their Mission Statement:
"Tennesseans for Responsible Immigration Policies is a not-for-profit, non-partisan coalition of American citizens who are concerned for the economic and environmental future of all citizens.I agree with everything on that list. Most responsible American, regardless of party affiliation, do as well.
"We oppose efforts to use federal immigration policies to force mass U.S. population growth and to depress wages of vulnerable workers. We are pro-worker, pro-liberty and pro-immigrant although we staunchly oppose illegal immigration. Members of TnRIP are Americans of all races and include many immigrants as well as spouses, children and parents of immigrants who came to this Country through legal avenues.
"Tennesseans for Responsible Immigration Policies donate their time, their skills and their knowledge to insure that future generations of American citizens will have the same opportunities and freedoms that we enjoy today.
"Our Goals:
Legal immigration should be limited to spouses and unmarried children (under 18) of U.S. citizens and individuals who are personally persecuted as defined by the Immigration Act of 1980.
"Non-citizen legal immigrants should be denied all welfare benefits and public assistance, cash and non-cash, except emergency medical care.
"All illegal aliens should be expeditiously deported, except those who are spouses of U.S. citizens;
"All illegal aliens should be denied all public services except emergency medical care;
"Children born in the U.S. of illegal immigrants should be denied automatic U.S. citizenship, non-emergency, publicly-funded health care and free, public education.
"Only legal immigrants who have demonstrated a working knowledge of English and have met all requirements for naturalization should be allowed to become U.S. citizens."
George Bush has sold out Conservative Republicans, as has Trent Lott. There will be repercussions for the Republican Party. Should've listened, and not become trapped by the trappings of Office. Easy come, easy go.
Well, thanks for the visit and the email, Theresa, and I hope that your 'Tennesseans Murdered by Illegal Aliens' list doesn't grow any longer...
