This is much good riddance.
"The death of Dadullah represents the biggest setback to the Taliban command since the insurgency began, after its Islamic militia government was toppled by U.S. backed forces in 2001.

Dadullah was killed during a clash with Afghan and western forces in Helmand province, Afghan officials said on Sunday. "He was killed last night and right now I have his body before me," Assadullah Khalid, governor of neighbouring Kandahar province, told Reuters.
and
"Mullah Dadullah was the backbone of the Taliban," said Asadullah Khalid, governor of the former Taliban stronghold of Kandahar. "He was a brutal and cruel commander who killed and beheaded Afghan civilians."

...

An Associated Press reporter said the body, lying on a bed and dressed in a traditional Afghan robe, had no left leg and three bullet wounds: one to the back of the head and two to the stomach.
There's not much celebration, though, these guys just replace one with another. Interchangeable terrorists...
the death would have little long-term effect. Alani noted that insurgent attacks in Iraq did not abate after the killing of Al Qaeda's leader in Iraq, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, last June.

"In this sort of organization, people are replaceable, and always there is a second layer, third layer. They will graduate to the leadership," Alani said. "He is important, no doubt about it. Yes, it is a moral victory, but he's replaceable."
But it's a moral victory, you see. We'll take whatever we can get.

Oh, and may pig's urine flow upon him...
