No matter how hard we try, we can't prolong summer any longer...and this was a stretch! October 30, Air temp. 78°, Water temp COLD...but the draw of the run is worth the frigid temps. It's only cold when you are actually in the water; riding above the surface is...better.
But hey, the Russkies swim it in all year long!
It was more pleasant in early June, Mid-June, June in Party Cove!, Early July, mid-July, and AugustSeptember...but it could be worse, we could be stuck fishing or something as boring...
