August, revisited

From Las Vegas to Needles, across I-40 to Holbrook, then into the White Mountains...pretty good run. Then back the same route, mostly. Too fast, too furious...just a few good pictures. But I'm hypercrital...If I don't see any promise in a picture, it's history. So here's just a few, for some reason, I liked.

This is my buddy...

Pondersoa Pine, in the largest stand in the World

Old Man Thorn's Hill (known to local cowboys as Rattlesnake Hill) was always my favorite hike

lonely fenceline near Winslow

Little Colorado River, flooded

Cholla lives in the High Desert

Y'know, I spent most of my time in 'Vegas in the airport...Let's hope the Liberal Rules only apply to the Casino. Our country deserves better than that!
