It can't get much better than that. No major problems (you know, stranded, spun a prop, hit a log or stump, normal worries). Sunburn for some crew members. Wanted to make a certain crewmember walk the plank...but that's normal too...

Percy Priest in general was not so fortunate. One boater drowned Sunday in Party Cove. As of today, his body has not been recovered. It is believed that alcohol was involved...

I avoided that area this weekend, before and after the loss of a boater. It's no fun to watch the lake being dragged. You really don't want to be the one to find the body, either. So I went upstream.

Storm clouds threatened (and dumped on us twice)...


I-840 recedes Monday as we navigate the East Fork of the Stones River...


The West Fork of the Stones is quiet here (Sunday)...


Not under nourished, or bothered by us at all...


We had a stinging rainstorm, stopped us dead in our wake...


At days end. Back to work tomorrow...
