ABC News ran a heartwarming story about how Austin Whitney, who became paralyzed during a drunken-driving accident, walked across the stage during his graduation ceremony, thanks to a high-tech exoskeleton developed by researchers at the University of California at Berkeley. By liberating himself from his wheelchair for a few minutes, he proved doubters wrong, the people who predicted that he would never walk again.
