Is Barack Obama's Afghanistan war strategy, announcing a July 2011 withdrawal, correct?

In terms of the July ‘11 issue, you know, I think if you follow it closely, and of course we all do, we know the president was talking to several audiences at the same time when he made his comments on July 2011.Giving our enemy sustenance. Krauthammer points out that phrase is just a couple rhetorical steps away from 'aiding and abetting the enemy', a no-no for a Commander in Chief.
In some ways, we think right now it’s probably giving our enemy sustenance. We think that he may be saying to himself -- in fact, we’ve intercepted communications that say, hey, you know, we only have to hold out for so long.
Well, a no-no for a dedicated Commander in Chief. For one who's clearly distracted by pressing social issues, as 'splained to him by the helpful 'professional left', Afghanistan is just another page that needs turning. Social problems, most importantly the Democrat's pronounced inability to do anything substantive to help the economy recover and JOBS! JOBS! JOBS! to return. Expect to hear BHO next week calling for more Keynesian stimulus spending - see Krugman in today's NYT for 'professional Left'-style gameplanning. Gotta get those funds out there, redistributed to Democrats. And, planning! for the 'lame duck' congress, where we'll see shell-shocked Democrats, sent packing in November, rush to get their final blows in before vying for jobs in the Obama administration. Free lunches for all!
Speaking of final blows, or in this case, new lows...on how in the world the Marine Corp will deal with the expected scuttling of DADT policy, a CHANGE that's likely to change life in the Armed Services for the worse, General Conway is asked "how he will implement" the new, expected policy that will allow gays to serve openly exposed in the military...
GEN. CONWAY: I don’t know. I don’t know. The law will CHANGE, General. Unfortunately, Democrats are all for forcing things to fit where they shouldn't.
We sometimes ask Marines, you know, what is -- what is their preference. And I can tell you that an overwhelming majority would like not to be roomed with a person who is openly homosexual.
Some do not object and perhaps -- you know, perhaps a voluntary basis might be the best way to start, without violating anybody’s sense of moral concern or perception on the part of their mates.
I don’t know. We’re not there yet. And it’s one of those hypotheticals at this point that we have to consider but we won’t have to deal with until the law changes, if it does.
Well, I think we need more stimulus. The first wave of stimulus to hit in November; augmented by a strong followup in 2012.
Again, and to belabor the point, we won't see improvements in the United States economy, and new jobs, until the far-left Social Democrats are voted out of office.
Is it November yet ?
